Community Leadership Breakfast
Thursday, September 24, 2015 at the Lake Elmo Event Center, 7:30am
Help us kick off our next Campaign season.
Learn about the importance of a strong inter-relationship between governmental services and community/non-profit agencies from guest speaker Alex Bartolic, Director of Disability Services at the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
While non-profit agencies provide a variety of services to those in need throughout the community, they are often dependent upon governmental support for regulations, oversight and funding. One is often unsuccessful without the other.
We’ll enjoy fabulous food, connect with friends and learn something new about our community.
Stuff the Bus 2015
It is estimated that more than 16% of kids enrolled in the Stillwater Area School District each year do not have all the tools they need to succeed in school. Community Thread and United Way of Washington County-East are joining together to meet this need by collecting school supplies and assembling hygiene kits for students in need.
Drop off donations at Stillwater Area High School on Tuesday, August 11 from 5pm-7pm. You'll have the opportunity to help with speed volunteering activities, such as the assembly of hygiene kits and snack bins that will also benefit Stillwater students!
Top Supplies Needed - for the full printable list, click here.
If you are unable to make the event on August 11th, drop off supplies at any of these locations before the event:
Please consider joining us as a sponsor to meet this need in our community to help all kids succeed.
Thank you to the Pillars!
