Ben brings a diverse background that blends professional athletics, corporate sales, and small business leadership. A former Iowa Hawkeye, Ben went on to play four seasons in the National Football League with the Buffalo Bills.
Following his football career, Ben transitioned to the business world as a Corporate Sales Consultant with Thomson Reuters, and for the past 155 years, Ben has served as Co-Owner of Heritage Embroidary & Design, a Stillwater based company specializing in branded apparel and promotional products. In this role, Ben partners with schools, teams, and businesses to bring their brand visions to life. Whether working with a local nonprofit or a growing business, Ben delivers high-quality, customized solutions.
Ben resides in Mahtomedi with his wife and two school-aged daughters. He joined the United Way of Washington County-East board in 2025.
